Creating a Retailer Task

Follow the steps below to create a new task from the Retailers-Task page.

1.        Click or touch the image178.gif button. The Create Task for Retailer dialog box is displayed.

2.        Enter a task description in the Description field.

3.        Click or touch the Due Date field to display a calendar and select a due date for the task. Check the recurring box for a recurring task.

4.        Optional: Enter notes in the Notes field.

5.        Optional: To display the task on your Home Dashboard, select the image180.gif check box.

6.        Optional: Assign default service actions for the task.  These actions will be saved with the retailer record when you complete the task.

7.        Optional: Attach a document to the task.

8.        Click or touch the Create button. The task is created and is displayed as a line item on the Retailers-Visits page of the selected retailer.
